My sweet sister, and her beautiful family!

My amazing Parents!

Helping in the kitchen.

As far as Aubrey goes he is standing with no assist, and can take one step before falling. He enjoys pulling me in for a headlock slimming, and can clap his hands. Babbling is the name of the game along with squealing, and he likes to "race"in his race car and chase you. He has one tooth now, but he doesn't like to show it to you, and there are more to come based on the drool, fussiness, and ear pulling.

November 4= 10 months old

Well to say that we have busy is correct. I haven't really made the time to blog, and I have some cute pics of our boy to show you what he has been up to.

9 months old

A is 9 months old today!!! Yikes where did the time go??? Before you know it we will be celebrating 1st birthday. Until then here is the updates on our silly boy. He went through a phase where he trilled his tongue all the time, and even when he cried or fussed at us. It was pretty funny, and if I could ever get my videos uploaded you could laugh at it to. He is figuring out how to say "tttt", and sort of "kkkk", and most of all finding all the varying levels of sounds in his voice. You know it is bad when Davy has to tell him to quiet down. He is trying to walk along the couch while holding on, and even lets go with one hand and then two.....to which he falls to the floor and tries again. Bath time is still a favorite, along with swinging in the evening now that it is not to hot and mom can tolerate the heat a little better. We have his 9 mo check up Thursday so I will have weight and height stats then. Here's a not so new pic, but still cute.

Need for Prayer Warriors.

I have recently been in a touch with a woman about my age that has the same trouble with her heart that I do. If you know me then you know that I am very open about it, because I want to be able to help anyone in the same situation or educate people about it. My doctor gave this women my phone number and vice versa so that I could talk to her about the last surgery that I had on my heart. She has been having a lot of problems, and been shocked more than I (bless her heart), and was considering doing the ablation. It was such a blessing to speak with her, and swap stories about ourselves and the struggles that we have with our hearts. She has decided to have the ablation done on October 6th. Please pray for her (I don't want to put her name out there, but we will call her M). The surgery will be at St. David's hospital in Austin, and the Surgeons are Dr. Burkhardt, and Dr. Natali. Pray that she continues to have hope that this will help her. Pray that the surgery is not to uncomfortable. Pray that it doesn't last to long. Pray that the doctors and all staff in her care are compassionate. Pray that she can feel God carrying her throughout the whole procedure. Pray for......well....you know how and what to pray for!

Next Prayers
Please pray for a dear friend of ours who was diagnosed with breast cancer today. It is ironic that it is Breast Cancer awareness month isn't it?? This family has been such a blessing to us, and so faithful to God that hearing this news breaks my heart. I don't know all the details or procedures to come, but I do know that the one thing that we can do is PRAY!

There are so many other people that have been on my heart lately with situations similar to our lives and I have felt so overwhelmed in a good way to go to our Savior and petition these prayers for them. I don't have any Ah-HA moments, and don't expect to. But I know that he hears me, and will answer these prayers in his own time, and way. I have been on the side of receiving prayer, and I know how powerful that is. On that note.

Thanks!!! I have been feeling so much better with the Thyroid depressant medicine. I feel more like me than I can remember. I will see the endocrinologist next week, and will see if there is any tweaking that needs to be done on the dosage. With much love, Anne.

James 5:15
And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned he will be forgiven

Psalm 86:6-7
Hear my prayer, O Lord; listen to my cry for mercy. In the day of trouble I will call to you for you will answer me.

Phil 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving present your requests to God.

So Aubrey is growing like a weed and moving oh so fast these days. He is crawling around everywhere, and that is his preferred mode of transport. He also is pulling up on everything....couch, chairs, window sills, and Pepper!!!

Strong Enough

So it has been awhile since I have used this blog to express myself and the struggles that I have, as well as those out there that read this blog. One of my new favorite songs is "Strong Enough" by Matthew West. It is a catchy tune and really can give hope to people that are struggling through devastating circumstances, tough decisions, and just all out unbelievable things. I am going to use my life as an example because this song gives me strength to move forward.

1999- Met the man God made for me
2003- First heart surgery
2003- Married that man
2004- Started PT school
2005- First shock
2005- Replace defibrillator, heart surgery
2006- Graduated from PT school
2006- Shocked again
2007- Heart surgery
2008- Shocked once again
2009- Heart surgery
2010- Miscarriage
2010- Shock while Pregnant with Aubrey
2011- My most precious blessing Aubrey
2011- Hyperthyroidism.....really????

So you see I have been told something new today. But I really didn't even bat an eye. I have been through the storm, or at least some storm. Because some of you may not realize that in that time frame of surgeries I was told that having kids wasn't an option because of my heart. But God's heart had a different plan.

When looking back at these 30 years the second half has been the most amazing, but difficult times. Like waves life moves forward with ups and downs...ride the highs, and be carried through the lows. I know that my life doesn't even compare to the struggles of cancer, abuse, acts of nature, or death. But the message is still the same. NO MATTER what it is that you are faced with, you can go through it with Christ, because he will carry you through. He is strong enough, you aren't, but he is. I know this because I have felt it in my life. Specifically with my heart surgery in 2009. I refer to it in a previous blog, but I know that I was carried through that surgery. I as a human would not have made it, but I had HELP. When you recognize that you aren't in control then you can feel that HELP, and looking back at the proof of my life it makes me even stronger.

So my second plug of this blog is about the book, "Heaven is for Real" by Todd Burpo. If you haven't read it. GO BUY IT NOW!! I loved this book. That is all I have to say about that.

I know this post is getting long, but I figured you would stick with me until I showed you a picture of the cutest, funniest, most loveable little 7 month old.

6months (and some), moved, settling down.

I think that when I created this blog that I thought I would be that girl that would blog once a week and really keep up, but once a month might have to do because we are still busy busy.

Aubrey is 6 months now, and really moving. Trying to crawl, but it looks more like a nose dive. Rolling everywhere, and just....wow....soooo much fun!!!Everyday is a good day for this boy. He babbles all the time, and giggles like crazy. Lately I am the funniest thing that he has even seen.

We have moved. We bought a house with some acreage outside of College Station. It is our own little piece of paradise. Sitting on the porch in the evenings is one of my new favorite activities. The dogs LOVE it. They run around and chase the millions of grasshoppers that we have.

We have done less boating this summer because of how busy we are, but now that we are settled, and the lake is only 15 min away I can't wait to finish out the summer.

At the end of June we took our annual trip to South Padre with my family, and I have to say it was very eventful, and uneventful!!! We all came down with a virus and spent our vacation in the condo. We went to the beach for about an hour the first day that we were there, but it rained......so needless to say I do not have pictures from that. Spending quality time with the family is great, but sharing the germs is a bad deal.

We also attended Mandy and Donnie's home town reception, and had a great time with friends and family.

These boys had a great time playing together. Don't they look like mischief?

These girls are growing up to fast.

I will post some videos later to show you how much fun my little boy is!!
